About Gridley

Gridley is an iOS and iPad social media content planning and publishing app developed by Nikita Marchenko. By accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The developer is reachable at hello@gridley.app.

Using Gridley

You agree to use Gridley lawfully and in accordance with the rules of each connected platform. Features depend on your account type, granted permissions, and platform availability.

Gridley lets you:

  • Preview and organise your Instagram grid.
  • Rearrange posts using drag and drop.
  • Crop and split images into grid layouts.
  • Plan content using a calendar view.
  • Schedule posts, Reels, and Stories.
  • Connect eligible Instagram and TikTok accounts, choose Manual Post or scheduled Auto Post, and publish to selected destinations through Account Groups.

Accounts & Personal Data

Some planning features work without a connected social account. To connect Instagram or TikTok, you must authorize Gridley through the relevant platform and have the right to manage that account. We do not ask for your Instagram or TikTok password.

Your authorization lets Gridley obtain permitted account data and credentials for the features you select. You may disconnect an account in Gridley or revoke permission with Meta or TikTok. Either action may stop scheduled publishing. A connection cannot be removed during an active publication; try again after it completes.

You can delete your Gridley account in Settings → Delete Account. See the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page for details.

Manual and Scheduled Publishing

Manual Post starts publishing when you request it. Auto Post attempts to publish at the time you schedule for an eligible connected destination. Account Groups can contain multiple Instagram and TikTok destinations, each with its own status and supported settings.

One destination may succeed while another remains pending or fails. Publishing may be delayed, rejected, or fail because of network conditions, expired authorization, platform review, API limits, unavailable services, unsupported media, or account and privacy settings. Gridley may retry or reconcile uncertain results. Check each destination and the social platform before trying again to avoid duplicates.

Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain your rights in content you provide. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, copyright and other permissions, and any required advertising, sponsorship, AI, or commercial disclosures. Do not upload or publish content that infringes rights or violates platform rules.

You give Gridley limited permission to store, format, transmit, and submit your content and selected settings solely to provide the planning, synchronization, and publishing services you request. This permission ends when the relevant content is deleted from Gridley, subject to operational cleanup and lawful retention described in the Privacy Policy. Published content remains subject to the destination platform’s terms.

Instagram and TikTok Rules

You must comply with applicable Meta and TikTok terms, developer and community policies, and publishing requirements. Privacy levels, interaction controls, formats, commercial labels, and visibility differ by platform and account. Gridley submits only available and authorized options; each platform decides whether and how content is published and displayed.

Publishing may require Gridley to make media available through a public URL so Instagram/Meta or TikTok can retrieve it.

Subscriptions & Payments

Premium features are available via in-app purchases or subscriptions through the App Store.

  • Charges apply upon purchase confirmation.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
  • Unused portions of a subscription period are not refunded upon upgrade.

Availability and Limitations

We work to keep Gridley available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, delivery at an exact time, or acceptance by a social platform. Platform APIs, permissions, limits, and services may change or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, Gridley is provided without a guarantee of any particular publishing or audience result.

Termination and Deletion

You may stop using Gridley, disconnect a social account, or delete your Gridley account in Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or end access when necessary to address misuse, security issues, or legal or platform requirements, subject to applicable law.

Account deletion removes active Gridley records and starts associated media cleanup, subject to limited backup, log, legal, and operational retention described in the Privacy Policy. It does not remove posts already published on Instagram or TikTok; manage those on the relevant platform. App Store subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Gridley changes. We will post the updated date and text here. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised Terms where permitted by law.
